we had in fact used this wardrobe on many occasions for displays in our shop in Stansted mountfitchet, it is constructed from solid hardwood and the hand carving can only be done justice when you're a face-to-face with it, the Cresta section in the middle at the top, is in fact all handcarved and on delivery would be wrapped separately and is then located on the top of the wardrobe by a couple of pegs so guaranteeing it arrives in perfect condition when you get it.

Please be aware this wardrobe comes in one piece and is very large and heavy make sure that you can get it into your home and in the location you require as it does not disassemble at all. Saying that I've just sold one that we modified so that it was not quite as high hand carving the top crests section reducing the height by a few inches, this can be done on request at an additional cost.
